well i was driving home with a friend in the car and right when i'm about to turn to my street i see a new black mustang behind me so i keep going straight to pick a fight ;) i thought it was a gt but turns out to be the new svt cobra...you know the supercharged one that is like neck and neck with the STI? well we end up on the freeway and we both start ------- around. i was going like 55-60 holding it in 3rd gear waiting to hit it. so i did and he does also....he cant pull on me~!!!! so he keeps trying to ---- around. then he hits it first and i cant really pull on him either but i stay right on his back bumper. we keep going at it on the roll for about 30 miles or so! if we both hit it at the same time i would pull a hair in front of him when we hit 4th gear!! i'm just sooooo ------- amazed my d16 can keep up with a $40k supercharged svt cobra! basically it was whoever punched it first, the other would be on the ass!! it was great and my friend in the car was just tripping balls that i could give some damn good competition to a new cobra!! he kept saying i won but to me it was whoever hit it first would barely creep up. i know this is long but i so damn amazed with my HMT CRX!!!! just had to brag.... :)

42/48 T3 51 or 54 wheel trim (cant remember) @ 9-10psi

cheap wannabe turbo xs bov (powerup venom pro type 1)

2.5" open downpipe (no exhaust and dont plan on putting one on soon either) ;D

thanks guys! it really does make me feel good that i put hard time, work, and money into this kit hoping to at least hang with the gt's but i am very suprised to be eating gt's for breakfast. now i know i can race svt's, ws6 trans am's, corvettes, and all those other heavy duty muscle cars. he had his girl and i had my friend so it was kinda fair. yes, and to think this is just a basic HMT kit that just about everyone is putting together on here. have faith guys! turbo's are the best and i'm never going any other route! ---- dohc's! i'm just gonna build up the d for about 15psi instead of swapping in a b-series.

you mean the zc dr boost? ah, its ok. but i think i just fell in love with the d16a6! plus its already what came with the car so everything will be easier imo.

actually, this mustang guy wasnt a prick like most of them thinking their v8 will eat a 4cylinder. finally after racing forever....one of my charge pipes popped and he even went as far to turn around on the median to see if i didnt ---- up anything. i told him it was just a pipe so that was it for me....we both gave the thumbs up and "good race". cool guy actually. he looked about 22 at the most...

i have a 91 crx si too, and gonna run pretty much the same set-up you have going. Your running 9-10psi on stock a6? hows that holding up for you?

actually its holding pretty damn good!! yup, its a stock d16a6 with 166k miles on it! its always been taken care of and only been beaten on by me. its actually all because of the AFC hack. i had an fmu and i guess it kept locking up on me so i couldnt even really hit boost. with the hack in my car just rips all the way to redline! i love it!!!! in third and forth gear it will spike to about 11psi sometimes but everything still holds together fine.

well to tell you the truth....i havent lost a race ever since i put my turbo on. he did have his girlfriend with him and i had my friend so it was fair....execpt he has like 380 hp and i probably only got like 200 ;)
