yeah there was a guy about 2 months back that tried to walk about a mile down a road to his friends apt. from the gas station where his car got stuck.

well it was -50 with the wind chill and the road was wide open to the wind, that and no hat on/bald head. (he was from the south). well he made it to the apt. and almost lost one of his ear's, and lost a chunk of one i think.

when they called for an ambulence it took 4 hrs to get down the road and to plow over the curb to get into the apt. 5-10 ft. drifts. it was crazy.

anyway frostbite is no joke, ---- that...

I love snow. In my opinion if it's gonna be cold then snow should be on the ground. But snow that's so deep that it gets people hurt is crazy.

Yea his hands were fine after, no nerve damage just some scarring. He was lucky, after this incident he stopped drinking. It was a real wake up call he could of died.
