Found a smokin deal on a usable holset h2a , but there is hardly any info about this biggun on the all mighty google. I'm pretty sure it's from a diesel cummins but not sure. I'm planning on slapping it on my 350 nova.


Anyone got some charts or maps for it?

I'd like to make sure it will work decently before I pack it up and send it off to blaast .

Aiming for low boost , 5psi realativley quick spool.

For now .

 

none of the holsets are very good for low boost really. and most have huge exhaust housings favouring top end on a gas engine, and slowish spool (but cool engine and low back pressure). other than that... good luck, sounds cool :-)

save yourself a couple hundred and beat it with a crow bar

Until we get an explanation for Tims turbo hes on my ---- list. He gave tim the run around and ran his bill up and in the end sent him a turbo that was possibly unbalanced and had a welded retaining clip on the compressor housing that popped off and trashed the project I put 12 straight hours into yesterday.

hmm... I'm having a hard time believing I couldn't spool this bitch on a v8..

The lag would suck tho . Maybe somehting more like a t3 hybrid?

Blaast still has one of my buddies turbos he sent in for a rebuild and was told it was "no good", he wanted his turbo back and hasn't got any replys from his emails. This was a few months ago so he gave up, he still want's his 16g back though.
