Hole cutting bit
Ive been looking around for a hole cutting bit to use for my BOV. Everything ive come across is made for wood. I wasnt sure if I should try one of these out or not. Also now thanks to this site, I just bought a welder. Pretty pumped that I dont have to ask a friend of mine to weld my stuff anymore! (though im pretty sure my first welds are gonna come out like total ----.
Thanks, you guys kick ass, Tom |

Re: Hole cutting bit
homedepot nigga, blue mol bimetal hole saw 1.5 inch unit.
now get a rope for being ignorant |
Re: Hole cutting bit
go ahead and try out the one for wood tsk tsk tsk. get some earplugs though, it will sound about 38525689 times worse than fingernails on a chalkboard, get a gas mask too, cuz it's gonna stink. make sure you wear goggles cuz ----'s gonna fly.
don't worry about clamping down the metal though, just hold it with your hand, haha but seriously, clamp it cuz you won't need a rope if you don't __________ all of the above was total crap and i really hope you don't try it, but post a video or pics if you do |

Re: Hole cutting bit
The closest home depo is almost an hour away, so I didnt particularly want to drive there for that one thing. Ive checked a bunch of local small hardware stores w/ no luck (and the guy at Lowes says they dont make them? ::)). Guess ill just suck it up and take a drive. At least that way I can pick up a few spare silicone connectors and maybe some extra fittings.
Thanks for the help Tom |

Thanks for the help Tom http://www.eville140.com/lowes.jpg I notched every tube on the cage in my caar with one bit, they will last a long time if used in a drill press, if using a hand drill they tend to wear out a bit quicker. But they are much more fun to use with a hand drill :) Later Randy |
