Sit back and relax cause if you've been around HMT for some time then I promise you will find this post to be very interesting and possibly upsetting. About 4-5 months ago, I was taken advantage of by a HMT member who went by the name of blownVTEC, he had other aliases, but we'll get into that. I wanted a turbo very badly and I was willing to trade almost anything I had to get a nice turbo and a majority of the parts I would need to install it. blownVTEC had a "kit" for sale and after many PM's back and forth we agreed to trade his "kit" for my Rockford-Fosgate " subs in a box, a Kenwood 1000W amp, 1 farad Cap, amp kit, a PS2 w/ network adapter and 3 games. I was supposed to get a turbo that wasn't a paperweight, some chargepiping and couplers, a 1g DSM BOV, an intercooler, an AEM adjustable cam gear, an AEM fuel rail for a Z6, and a coupler other misc. stuff. What I got was a seized up turbo, no BOV, a fuel rail for a newer Civic, and some other real crap. Anyway, at this time he had many deals gone wrong with probably about 6 other HMT members. Finally he sent me a non-fucked turbo and a BOV, but after many weeks and many phone calls to him mother. I was so pissed, that when I got the turbo, I was through with him. Fast-forward to present day. Today in the mail I received a PS2 w/ network adapter, 2 of the same games I traded before and 2 controllers. One of these controllers is special because it has the name of one of my friends etched on the bottom of it. Also, the serial number on the PS2 matches that of my warranty receipt of my original PS2. Where did I get this PS2? Smokey_Civic. Where does Smokey live? Mississippi. Where did blownVTEC live? Mississippi. blownVTEC's real name is David Faust. Smokey says his name is Matt Barron. "Matt" gave me the number to his "brother's" cell phone, and when I called it about the trade, the guy who answered does not know of any Matt Barron, which you would think he would if it was his brother. I happened to ask him if he knows David Faust, he replies "Yeah, I know Dave". He is busy and has to end the phone call. At this point I think you can start to draw your own conclusions about what is happening here at HMT. But if your still trying to wrap your head around it, I'll lay it out: Smokey_Civic is blownVTEC aka Dark Realm Customs aka The Barron aka Matt Barron aka David Faust aka THE BIGGEST LIAR EVER TO POST ON HMT. HE IS A SCAMMER AND PLEASE HEED THIS WARNING!!! DO NO BUSINESS WITH HIM! You've been informed and warned. Smokey_Civic, I'm calling you out! Explain all of this.

You know, smokey_civic seems like an alright guy. Way too many posts for being a member since mid Oct. (550ish). If this is true, I hope somebody rapes his mom in front of him and then cuts his spine out and beats him in the head with it. If this isn't true, something is definately fishy about it and I want to know what the ---- is going on.

am i missing something, or did i read that he eventually not only sent you a working turbo and a bov, but also sent you back your ps2?

Hotrex is going to the Top 2 worse sellers soon... he said he would give me a tracking # today (Monday December 8th) and guess what.. he hasn't been online.. so no tracking #'s, wonder if the other 3 guys got theirs... hmm

No. you are reading it wrong. You're right I did leave some ---- out, I left out the fact that I was on the phone with this kids family at least twice a week for like 2 months in order to get anything. His mom evetually cracked the whip and thats why I got the turbo. I also left out the fact that I traded him 3 great condition CD decks for the PS2, so he didn't just give me back the PS2.
