hmt plumbers?
wtf...i tried tightening my toilet to the floor (it rocks a bit), but the ------- nuts/studs just spun in place with minimal torque. I have zero experience with toilets and how they mount, anyone have any insight? I really dont feel like ripping this bitch out just because it wobbles.

There are wedges you can buy at home depot, lowes, ect.... they are in the plumbing department. Good luck, you don't have any leaks right??

Re: hmt plumbers?
clear silicone all the way around the bottom gap (remove old if applicable)
apply new coat make sure to squeeze in to the gap. let dry for a day or 2 if you must sit during drying time make sure not to rock it |
Re: hmt plumbers?
so basically i should just ignore the fact that the bolts/studs/whatever arent really tight? It doesnt leak, my initial idea was just to shim/caulk it but i was worried since the bolts arent very tight.
