Well it was a LONG weekend for some but we got ---- done. Somethings had to be Ghetto Rigged(EK2000 chargepipes) but hey this was a HMT Meet!!!!
It start with AndrexXx showing up at my place at about 2:30 Friday, So we got to work, he needed his 450cc put on a a DP, no biggy, But I never expected DA engine bays to be that tight!!! Attachment 34350 We worked till about 11:30 Friday as guys showed up and then headed from the shop at my parents to my house about 2min drive away. Attachment 34351 Attachment 34352 Next morning we finished of AndrexXx's car and got started on installing 2 kits on 2 cars. EK2000 Hatch, and 9tray turbo's coupe. Attachment 34353 Attachment 34354 Turbo Compare, T3/T04B, IHI, T3/T04E Attachment 34355 HMT Dinner Action and Cook!!! Attachment 34356 Attachment 34357 Attachment 34358 Attachment 34359 Attachment 34360 Attachment 34361 Attachment 34362 Attachment 34363 Attachment 34364 Attachment 34365 The only Turbo car to show up, WOT's Buget Built a6 Rex. This thing sounded mean, Idled like ---- on a 3bar that we installed, but HUALED ASS at 14-15psi!!! We even got pulled over at night while doing a tuning run, but it was for headlights and not topping out 3rd gear at 14psi thank god!!! Might have to find a better rim with a heavier backspace!!! EK2000, Xgenturbo and 9tray turbo got about 1hr of sleep each and I was up from 8:30am Saturday till 8:30 Sunday night with not evenb a wink of sleep, but we got ---- done!! EK2000 made it home!! He had 8-10hrs of driving and only had a small oil line leak. I say that take balls travelling that far on a fresh first timer turbo kit!! 6:00am Roll Call!!! My dad went out around 7:00 and bought us all coffee!!! Attachment 34399 9tray turbo pulled nice @5psi then POOOF, something went, We thought it was a chargepipe, then the Audi WG as the diaphram was burnt to ----, but he drove it home with no boost almost 36hrs after he arrived. He tore it apart today (monday) and found that the Turbine wheel had shattered! But out comes a small Nissan TUrbo and in goes a T3/T4!! Go big or go home!!! Thanks guys for coming out, we had a great weekend, and we found WOT cell phone!!!! Lots of pics!! |

Whats up with the hood on the crx? also that body kit on the silver ek is :-X . Other then that the si blue eg is the sex :D

Ya, someone tried cleaning them with Acetone, some he had to paint them. That's why we got pulled over! Cop didn;t like them but WOT convince him they were stock!!!! Cop didn't even know the car was a Honda!! Got to love living out in the boonies!

Awesome job on the frontmount trimmage Martin, never new you guys were actually gonna throw on the audi wastegate, ---- I bet that tok some time About my hood, it was under 3.5lbs, vented right above the hood. BUT. On the way home (2hours in the rain on backroads) it went FWOOOOF right the ---- into my windshield, so Josh, if youre looking for a ef hood, its on the side of the ------- road with some carbon fiber hood pics haha. Car ran ------- nice and cool on the higway without a hood though like 140*, ---- happens, I'll pick up a stocker tomorrow I suppose to get my car back on the road and try and get some tuning smacked down I cant beleieve you guys worked so late, I almost slept like a baby on the way home, grabbed some mickdicks to wake myself up ps- you got osme nice ass people in town to pick up my phone on the side of the road and actually dleiver it to you, didyou know the guy? Na, dind't know the guy, he had to be about 20yrs old or so. They were walking home from a Dance in Exeter and saw it. It was on the very edge of Exeter. John said when you went to my house to get a case of beer you got out there to play with the MBC.

That rex looks mean. I not big for vented hoods or body kits but everything goes together and gives it that mad max look with the flat black paint job. Meet looks like it went pretty good.

yeah i figured no one on here would like the kit but hey it was free and all my factory stuff got messed up in a fender bender(caddy doin 60 km's an hour and me sitting still = sandwhich action)

No. The mani on the rex looks like a SSAuto Made, but it's not. Look at it in person and the quality is WAY better, Primaries are bigger. He bought a mani off Hotrex and it fit like ----, wouldn't clear anything in the engine bay!!
The teg, he bought the kit used for next to nothing so why not. The Turbo, Really all we wanted was the BOV and Wastegate, but the turbo came with it. We got a good deal on it. |

I had no idea what company made my manifold when I bought it, bought it thinking it was made by tsudo, didnt care if it was ssautochrome really
Then I saw a real ssauto mani on andres teg, holy ----, mine was twice as big! in all aspects it was just bigger, build qulaity seems to be tits Loving the pics Josh, saved them all, any word on the phone shipment? I found a new hood today in a local yard, sprayed it black and put it on, I can try and tune this badass bastard tomorrow |

And yes the Hotrex mani sucked ----, hit the hood, turbo to low, wastegate housing hit the headlight support, tried to make it work but it just ------- sucked and the runner didnt line up great so I sold it |
