Re: HMT Ontario 2007!!!, lets get some ideas going here.
simple fix for tech
disconect the alt belt
put a stereo breaker on your ground wore and run it out your hatch
as soon as u brake the ground to the bat the car dies you pass tech
drive over to everyone else and conect your alt belt again and you good to go

I like the mosport idea, but i think it would be pretty expensive to rent. If a few of us wanted to go to mosport the thing to do would be to to "double up" with another club. I know somone thats usually involved with organizing track days for VW and Audi guys, so mabey somthing like that would work.

We're poor, half of us are in school and we drive civics with home made turbo systems, I doubt anyone would be willing to blow more than gas money and maybe a bit for food here and there.
I still say we hold a meeting at Spoonfed's place, the dragstrip is close, its $15/day instead of $100 and we could still work on small mechanical stuff, just not huge installs like we tried to pull off last year, that didnt go over so well trying to work on 3 cars at the same time, and after talking to Josh over some other matters I would also agree that he got of taken advantage of and so did his friend Jon, I did whatever I could when it came to fab work, mostly did the mechanical work.
At the end of the day everyone was tired and nothing got done, so for this year I'd like to stay away from installs and just have some fun, go for a cruise and to the dragstrip, have a barbacue and beer and eat (with clean hands) and not have to worry about the BS! Really.
EDIT: I'm going to contact the owners @ Sparta to see if they can get HMT a reduced rate perhaps.
