yea its kinda a thing i did when i was a kid so now i eather walk around with 1/2 inch buttholes in my ears or i leave these studs in so i leave them.

but does it actually work ??? dont know it is like 30ish degrees here, wich is obviously cooler than under the hood. so i'm thinking it has some affect.... ::)

Exactly, or switch to jewelry made of a material that doesn't react so much with your skin. Wood plugs are great for that, but they require a lot more maintenance than plastic or stainless steel. www.bmeshop.com

wrx's have top mounts, so do pulsar gtir's. so i guess its who's who. but this was a budget build and we finished it for $360 everything, down pipe and all.

its the evaperating effect of the water that draws off the heat as it evaperates.

as long as the water is cooler than the air inside the charge pipe it will do *something* ;) edit - i take that back, even if the water is warming i bet the evaporating effect will still cool the air :)

i saw a cool thing, this guys turbo dragster had a air/water setup and after he came back the water was boiling in the resevoir :)

test it. find out the air inlet temp. and the air outlet temp. before and after.
that would be cool to see how far the temp drops.
kick ass project.

My Front mount is always ice cold, and when it rains out it's still ice cold. Because I have never done this I am curious how well it works, but dubious as to how well it works.

how the ---- can you see that in those blurry ass pics, I was'nt talking ---- ------- I was giving advice if I would have listened to hotrex when I did a similar setup it could of helped save my engine that and lack of a tune, but still the heatsoak just helped with the detonation.

think an injector would work? Im sure so but i gotta start a new mini project or carpel tunnel because of cray 91's porn pass is gonna cripple me. Im thinkin just a water source to injector and a clip wired into power and ground.

just build a box around the intercooler and do a closed loop water system and have a little radaitor for it with a fan. personaly watercooling is just to much ---- to deal with. id only do it if i was boosting a camaro or somthing thats going to move allot of hot air.

A fuel injector using water instead of fuel would rust and not work for very long.

with your filter so close to the intercooler just make sure the water doesn't overspray onto the filter, that would probably be not so good for the turbo. but nice setup

yeah the injector may rust but ive got 4 of them so ill be ok. I dont think im over thinking it i think im doin whatever the hell i want with my time and well its fun to make ---- that can also be used to spray people outside my car.
