Well I broke up with my girlfriend of over a year and a half this week. But I just realized somehting today. I dont' knwo how to do laundry. I know I'm 24 years old and should know by now, but i don't.
Can you guys learns me on how to do it?

I wash with cold water, heavy load setting.

I try and keep lights and darks seperate all the time.

New ---- should be washed with the same or similar coloured stuff first time around, and don't throw it in the dryer if you like the way it fits, hang dry it the first few times you wash it.

Read the bottle/box of whatever detergent you're using, and go nuts.

seperate them by dark /bright color.
flip all your clothes inside out before u wash them so they don`t rub against each other
always inspect all the pockets for paper before u throw them in :X
keep all the clothes inside out if you have to air dry them (so the color does not fade from the heat)
hang heavy clothes with two hanger (one lifts up the bottom of it ) so the weight doesn`t not stretch them.
softener goes to the last cycle, add it on to the WATER not directly to the clothes or it could ---- up the color.

before i got with my current GF i NEVER EVER did laundry, she found out the hard way. brand new grey hoody turned pink, there want anything red in the machine.


check your local laundromat, they usually offer a wash and fold service. ~$30 will get you enough clothes for 2 weeks

i dont seperate anything and so far ive never had any problems

just throw clothes in there...use some detergant...keep wuteva settings ur girl used./.she prolly knows better than any of us..spin the dial and let it do its ----

wash the white seperate mang!

1. turn on machine until it starts filling w/ water.
2. dump soap in (measure up to "line")
3. fill with close, do not squish it all in there, load as evenly as possible.
4. wait for thing to finish (25-30 min).
5. stick it all in the dryer with a bounce sheet.
6. turn dryer on (if its a timer only, turn to 50-60 min).

on the dryer, be carelfull as to not let it dry too long or too hot. it will shrink the ---- out of your clothes. I learned the hard way :3

use warm or cold water for everything except whites(use hot for whites). ONLY use that clorox stuff for whites(bleach?) if you're gona use bleach for other clothes, make sure its color safe, if not it will turn ugly colors, lol.
