Set up CRx (mine) b18a hm manifold 3" dp and exhaust t3/t40e Spearco fmic ssautocrhome wg HKS wannabe HKS rough street-tuned Turbo Edit Ek set up B18c1 Full Race manifold Full Race downpipe turbo = GT32 fully tuned Hondata. considering his car is probably about 250-400lbs heavier that was a good race, had he had his setup in a crx he woulda beat you badly

hey wouldn't the 91 std ( 4 speed ) tranny be the best for a d series turbo setup becuase of its long ass gear. i only get 6500 rpms out of mine but my second gear goes to 73 mph you would have tons of time to spool a larger turbo. bugger turbo = more boost.

both setups were on 9psi and stock internal.

---- yeah !! Dont listen to all the guys that said you lost. I'd say you were about even. Only time he passed you, you obiously let off. Nice work....give a little more info on your set up ...psi ? is the engine internaly stock? ;)

Good ----, nice vid...you had that, I dont care who says what, the first race you were in front and the guy had a hard time pulling on you. tune it better and run 12psi, and you'll be running circles around him. |

Vince@KRB-PRO, you should be proud of yourself and the performance. With your setup you held your grounds very well. It seems as if you ran our of gear and that's why he passed you. As someone stated earlier, slap a VTEC head on, get a better gear box, and with good tuning you'll have his ass because of better power to weight ratio.

power to weight guys. it was a good race. looking4boost keep looking. its not the manifold. the guy in the ek obviously has more power than you but he also weighs more so it all evens out. maybe a few ponies came from the mani but most of it is because its a gsr motor

stfu every thread i seen you post in you had some dumb as comment keep it to your self, what the kid was trying to get out with the white rex is that his homemade setup was keeping up with a full race setup in the ek, basicly he getting at homemade setup can be just as good as 3,000 dollar race setups |

I see alot of you saying that he lost or something like that or ou coulda had him. first off the stop race krb walked the ek, and then the ek is hella mad because hes a sore loser and kept wanting to run from rolls every time we would try to get next to him he would brake boost and go.
At the light he had atleast a car head start on us and we were neck and neck on his ass the whole time. Main thing is that he lost from the dead stop and flag. I was in the passenger seat, honestly the guy in the ek would race you until he passed you no matter how fast your going an i think that is careless, of course he would have beat us from 125 MPH and Up but who traps 125 on street setups? Anywho all and all he got owned. |
