Well then I hope he's making that much. No reason to live in a place like that if you can't afford it. Out here they make you prove your income and make sure your rent isn't going to be over a certain % of your income.

Ah, I'm not too worried about it. She has both feet planted on the ground, and social skills + perceptions a lot of high school age kids (not to mention a few adults) lack.

For the record... she has my hair (I was blond at her age), my eyes + nose and to a lesser extent face, laughs like me, and thinks somewhat like I do. It's hard to tell exactly how smart she is just yet; if she takes after me her learning curve won't pick up until her mid-teenage years. I dunno if I'd even want her to be anything more than average intelligent. Anything more and it starts to suck.

My house looks exactly like Snafubmx234 just different colors. Unbelieveably the same haha, but I don't have a garage.

I'm too lazy to walk around setting up/taking pics of the inside. Here's a few of the house itself I have though...

The finals days of construction

Landscape work I did earlier this year

Sheesh we're almost the same age, but you seem to have the financials working for you. GJ

Its not my place, its just me and my dad that lives here. So its a pretty big bachelor's pad. I'm an engineer working for this company: www.hydrojet.com and I go to school part time.

That's a nice ------ there Whitey. My next big purchase will be at least 5 acres. You can still get heavily wooded land out here for around $10-$15k an acre.A little more if you want the mineral rites.

I'm saving up to do the same thing. I want to buy land and build my own house. I wish I could get land that cheap, thats crackhead pricing. Around here a decent 2 acre lot is over $200,000 So I'm trying not to be an idiot and go blow all my money on a badass car, self restraint is a bitch.

wow, thats cheap. Here a lot goes for $350 000+. The housing market where I live is insane, 2 bedroom ---- shacks that were 80k, now sell for over 200k. I guess thats what happens when you live in the richest place of Canada :\
