HMT cheating on homework
Math is not my strong point. It's probably my weakest subject. So, I need someone to help my stupid *** with this ----.
The problem is (x^3)y -2y = 6 . I need to show if the equation defines y as a function of x. I already know that it does thanks to the answer key, but I need to show how.
I've gotten as far as -2 = x^3 - (6/y), but I don't remember how to make y by itself. Can anyone help me along?
