Default hmt blues...i think people, including myself, have lost sight of what hmt is abo

I visited hmt today and saw that 600hp accord build and realized, that yea its cool, but the whole point of hmt was to make cars faster for really REALLY cheap... that accord setup must have cost a ton! I too am falling into the faster=money pit groove. I used to look at pre built race motors and turbo kits and think, damn thats way too expensive for me. That was my reasoning in going with the rear mount turbo on my audi (see here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/780860) however now that im thirsty for more power and have a job that pays more I find myself looking at those race engines ready to pull out a check book....sad. So im thinking about starting a new project from scratch, something really REALLY CHEAP and grungy but with a ton of power.. you guys are going to kill me but i am actually entertaining the idea of boosting an old ford v8 with 2 of the chinese knock off turbos....should i be institutionalized? maybe so. I really wouldnt mind meeting some people and helping with a group build in the columbia, missouri area if you are out there PM me, fabricating and tuning is fun but it kind of sucks when there is no one to share it with.

Nevermind that the ENTIRE build was done in my friend Mike's garage, nor that every ------- piece of it was custom built in said garage by myself and numerous HMT nogs... Have youu ever tried to get anything TRULY performance related for a ------- ACCORD? Theres not much... at all, you go buy your prebuilt ----, and have a shop do the rest of your ----, and Ill keep doing it my way....

You **** baby Jesus off, and Chuck Norris doesnt like it one bit

Ohhhhhhh It all makes perfect sense... Audi driving ******....
