I made an air filter today with a sock. I could have cut it down farther but I figure this gives it the full effect :P The black on my car is black primer were I removed some rust and bondoed over it. Enjoy.

How? it certainly isn't going to restrict flow with all it's holes and I figure it will filter better than a strainer so... I'm optimistic.
