hmmm not so good
well i hooked up my a/f gauge. under and driving condition its at complete lean. i jsut took it down my drive and saw that so i backed up. im running a base te map and 450s on a NA setup. i think im gonna get a fuel pressure reg to see if turning up the fuel pressure will help...any suggestions

Re:hmmm not so good
Check if it was connected right, also those only work at WOT, you probably know that, so it will only read somewhat accurately if you hit the gas all the way down while you are driving it.
It should not be all the way lean with your setup |

Re:hmmm not so good
I don't think that grounding to the battery would make a difference, all ground on the car ends up at the battery, the wire length you have to run to the battery would probably be the same resistence as the body going to the battery.

Re:hmmm not so good
the best way to use an a/f gauge is to give it its own O2 sensor or it will always be off

Re:hmmm not so good
Hey Bill I tested out that bin I made in 1.66 and my wideband said RICH almost the whole time lol (that's below 10:1 A/F). I made a new one and got it running pretty decent if you want to take a look at it.

Re:hmmm not so good
im gonna try a new fuel pressure reg. stock one. and im getting a cel #9. not sure what that is

Re:hmmm not so good
I would trust smelling my exhaust and guessing before I trusted what that gauge told you.
I found out later that I was running a little too rich, but when I boosted 17psi at full throttle I could make every single light on the gauge light up and stay on. All at the same time. ??? |
