Found this on a site and was wondering what you all thought of it ???


This is his setup:

1.8i Vtec SOHC
Drag High flow 4 into 1 cast iron turbo exhaust manifold
Turbonetics T4 High flow turbocharger
Turbonetics Delta gate Mark II Wastegate (7 PSI Spring)
Drag High Flow front mount intercooler w/
polished cast aluminum end tanks
Greddy Type S Blow off valve
Drag mandrel bent high flow chrome plated pipes
Drag mandrel bent high flow downpipe
Drag wastegate dump tube assembly
Drag Blue silicone hose and hose clamps
Drag High pressure/High volume inline fuel pump
Boost dependent FMU fuel regulator
Map sensor bypass valves
Stainless steel braided oil feed line
HKS induction kit - with stainless piping
Denso Iridium spark plugs and HT leads
Grounding Kit
Supersprint Catback Exhaust
Supersprint De-Cat pipe
Apexi V-AFC
Greddy 1.3bar rad cap
Spoon covers
Braided Hosing

He says that at the dyno he got 242whp and 390lb/ft torque??

Is this possible? :-X

i doubt a honda motor can make that much more tourque than hp

Well, It could be very well possible because he probably has a stroker kit in his z6 of some sort. Because even if the block is sleeved I dont think you can put in 80mm pistons in a D-series block to get a 1.8l.

T4's are pretty big turbos for single cams, What are the specs of the turbo?

lol, ask him what internals he used to make a 1.8l on a d16?

Maybe some B-series pistons? hahaha, I dont think anything would be left on the sleeves.

I'm calling BS until I see some more stats.
