hmm...i cant brake the tires loose!!

ok so i was beatin on my car some, got a little boring so i felt like doing a lilttle burnout becuase i havent tryed it with the turbo. I pulled the e brake, put it in 1st reved to about 4.5 - 5.5k droped teh clutch and the ------ car keeps takes off! i can see some smoke thu the side windows as i take off but its like the car never loses traction, it just keeps pulling all 4 wheels :D thats a good thing! but why is it i cant get the tires to spin? btw, i rarly ever do burn outs so maybe im doing somthing wrong? :-\

your ebrake just sucks, thats all. If you yank your ebrake when moving, will it lock up the tires easy?

tighten the cable. pull it up as high as possible, engauge on the gas peddle, while doing so have a friend stand near ur car holding on to the window drop the clutch to start the spinning, once u build boost durring ur burnout have him let go. sit n spin, enjoy. stop vid n post online!

spray bleach on your tires. hotrex told me that trick. :P

you must not be making any power. i could drop the clutch from a slow roll in first and bake up my tires.

Yeppers. My tires break loose at the top of first and second. I dont even need the ebrake for a burnout but for a good sit n spin one sure. 2nd gear burnouts are the way to do it right!

2 windshield wiper squirters ahead of front tires. plastic bottle, windshield washer pump and a button.

problem solved.

Dont know why you cant do a burn out. I can do one with a 100HP of N/A furry, not nothing spectacular.

werd, my old ef could do a burnout from a stand still, with no e brake on a d16a6. I really didn't even have to try. I miss that car I wish I had a video, it would make some smokey burnouts.

Re: hmm...i cant brake the tires loose!!

this is gay, maybe my tires are too sticky ;D i have an OEM clutch with like 100 miles N/A 250 F/I and it doesnt slip/miss it catches and pulls thuout the "burnout" so i dont think its the clutch, dr boost we practicaly have the same setup! (stealthmodes site ;) )

this prolly wont make you feel better but my CRX HF would burnout if i dumped the clutch, but now i need a new clutch :( sounds like you need more practice. try it in a cement parking lot there slicker and easyer to practice on

Re: hmm...i cant brake the tires loose!!

well is there really a technique involved just to get the tires spining at all? my old HF spun pretty easily tho (stock) :-\
