HKS snap ring
 

I bought a used hks bov, and the guy couldnt find the c-clip or the gasket. Can i source out that clip at homedepot or an autoparts strore, or do i have to get it directly from HKS?

I heard how big of a bitch it is to get it to seat properly. Im just gonna take the flange and bov to napa to see if i can rig something up

well all within a hour i went to 2 napas, home depot, ace hardware, and some random auto parts store. None of these places had anything close to what i needed :7. Anyone else know where i can get these two pieces? Im gonna pm donald and see if he can just send the clip and gasket

ummmm, just get the proper snap ring and some snap ring pliers with 90* tips on it and it takes all of 3 seconds to put it on.

thats the whole point, finding the proper snap ring. HKS doesnt sell it directly off their site,and no one seems to have it either :-\

Just find a HKS dealer online or ask a sponsor here. Try Mike from LSD. Not sure if he's a HKS dealer or not.

HKS is ------- up bigtime, Keystone (north americas #1 wholesale dist. ) just dropped them because of crap product and shitty customer service. and you should also expect a price hike on on the SSQV because of a redesign (vacuum barbs falling off and shitty fitment issues supposedly resloved), if the retailer passes the new cost onto you expect to pay an extra $40-50

from what i've seen most of the knock off's are better quality than the real ones, lol. My knock off gave me a few probs tho, the little plastic valve seat fell out and held the valve open, I just superglued it back in....problem solved.

Yes we are an HKS dealer, but they dont sell that part individually. My suggestion is just chop it and use a standard weld style flange. HKS customer service is comparable with Hotrex Customer Service these days.
