My car was backed into by a Trailblazr and his tow hitch damaged my front bumper. I was given his plate number, but Im in NYC and the plates are registered in Connecticut.
I went to my insurance company and they told me to go to the police to do a plate check, but after they tried, they couldnt find his insurance carrier because they dont have access to Connecticut info.
What do you guys think I can do next? Im Paypal ready if one of you noggs have to be compensated for your services.

Seems simple enough, get the Phone # for a DMV in Connecticut. If they can't help you call a police department non emergency number.

all of the sites I hit up was going to cost anywhere between $35-$75 to find the bastards name and info. Id just call the CT DMV and report it.
