go the gas station, and get put premium in your car, but sometimes premium isnt almost 93octane... blow your motor... crack a sleeve etc...
lots of motors have take high hp (for a honda) with stock sleeves, but about a ---- ton of them have blown up and cracked sleeves at that same power level or lower.
sleeving them is a good idea if you want to make serious power, or else you will be holding your breath everytime you go WOT

tell that to dave
whenever a honda motor blows up they say bad tuning, if we were jsut good tuners like in japan all hondas would be able to make 5000hp on stock blocks. its all in the tune

Just look at all the high horsepower honda that are out there these days. Oh and you mentioned pump gas, well people aren't running 500+whp daily and when they are running high boost it's on race gas. 300-400whp on a built motor should be fine on stock sleeves with pump gas.
that being said, its hit or miss lots of them blow up, lots of them last a while

Both of the tuners I mentioned know a hell of a lot more about tuning Hondas than you do. I have nothing but respect for Dave, but just look at the things Jeff Evans has done with Hondas. You can' say it's hit or miss because he has proved over and over it can be done, when done right on a properly built and tuned motor. I just find it hard to believe that Jeff (BH) and Full-Race Geoff just happened to have "freak" stock sleeved motors.

mase is a total douche, ask him waht the definition of load is.
"mase" doesnt even know how the dyno he tunes cars on works.
he is one of the douche bags on HT who said "there is no such thing as load on an engine" and anyone who says that is a complete idiot
so as far as im concerned mase = idiot, and as previously stated, a monkey could be trained to tune a fuel injected gas motor
