High beams, do you?
 

Just randomly driving around people all the time(in wa state)will give me their high beams to give a heads up that theres cops around, i return the favor for everyone else. My question is do people in your area do the same, and does everyone else do the same for others?

I do, but its more of a hi-lo-hi-lo flickering. Im in NJ and it doesnt seem to be to common. I do it mainly so LEO can possibly occupy his time with real criminals and not measly speeding tickets.

no one really does it around here in mn, but people flasht there brights at me when I drive my truck all the time cause they think i have my brights on, but I don't it just has really bright headlights

i have a hard time telling if people are flashing or not, since a lot of the roads in seattle have hella cracks and ---- (where the ---- do my taxes go??) so the lowered cars are never not bouncing. it's funny, whenever i leave my house and go down the arterial to the main road, there's bumps in the road just timed perfectly, i basically turn off my cd player when i go down it.

but i never knew of this ----, usually if i see cops going in the direction of homiez i'll txt em :S

plus, i pretty much NEVER see cops for some reason. I will see 1 cop car on the main road like every few days, and it's usually just cruising along, with a fat trail of people behind and the lane next to it, going the same speed, lol

Oh man, LOL. We do that ALL the time on a long drive in the day home on a single lane road. Really boring and gay so...we see how many people we can get to honk, flash back, or slow/slam on brakes. I thought my buddy and I were the only people to do that. I figure it doesn't hurt anything and is acutally making them more cautious and alert. :y ;D

I do it when i can, only because someone saved my ass big time by warning me. I would have definately gotten ticketed, and wouldn't have been able to pay it :P

i forgot all about that game....i have it but im about 1/2 way through it......and to the cop issue: they set up speed traps around here, if i have the time i make a big sign that says: speed trap ahead and i tape it on the street sign about 1/2 a block before the trap, i ------ hate cops and the way they hide to catch people is bullshit.

a motorcycle will stand between 2 parked cars w/ his radar gun and when cars come by he steps out to clock them.....and they have a tow truck parked in the parking lot waiting to tow (how fucked is that?? they plan on towing people)

yeah i got saved so i return the favor. but around here we got alot of people with hid headlights and if u flash them they get peeved cuz they think ur flashin them cuz they are real bright. and i know all you 90-93 teg owners get this alot when i drive at night i have my stock fogs on and people see the fact that i have all lights on a think my his are on so the flash me and right b4 they pass me i flit my his and then have 3 sets(norm, hi, fog) of lights blinding them as the go by its funny

I don't do it because people out here just think you're trying to tell them their brights are on and then they flash theres at you to let you know they don't have them on. ::)

My driver side low beam is out and I found a fast way to fix it. drive w/the 'high" beams on. Its kinda my way of always saying, drive faster, move the the right, police up ahead? and "damn straight I'll blind you and aint' nuttin' yous gonna do 'bout it" :6

Well if I'm pissing people off why has no one flasshed the brights @ me or tapped the tail lights in the last 6 months? Civic "high" beams are week to begin with, Bitch.

yea. i have super bright non-hid bulbs (they're like 600k below the lowest HID bulbs) and i drive with my highbeams on because i like my lights going farther than 10ft in front of my car :-X no one's ever flashed me, and behind normal height cars my lights usually dont go above their trunks

i do, on occasions, really just when I feel like it. I also do it when fuckers cut me off, so I just turn my high beams on the rest of the way and tailgate them until they get out of my way.
