hf mani for california only?
 

last weekend i was in the seattle bellevue area hangin out for the seahawks game. i figured since i was in town id take a trip over to the cascade auto wrecking area looking for an hf, or std manifold. when i asked them for one, they brought out a totally differant manifold that wasnt even close. so i showed them a pic on my phone what it looked like. they told me since it has a precat it was a california only model and had to me special orderd for 150 bones.
so my question is if this is true that the hf was a california only manifold? hf manis seem to be rare in the tri cities wash area. but i guess theyre rare in seattle as well.

No.They were a super mileage edition as they were sold in Canada as well as the STD and we have super lax emissions laws.

i dont have a pic, but it looked very close to the oem mani that i have on my z6, kinda long. but yea i was kinda pissed that i wasted my time after they told me on the phone that they had one in stock. next time im in seattle ill have to do more hunting.
