Hey guys i'm back, and my civic is boosted.
 

Hey i couldnt get on the site for a while, anyway, my civic was boosted and it felt great till the turbo blew up, the buddy that sold me the turbo told me that he will refund my money, so i did all that custom welding for nothing, oh well, but the good news is i went out today and got a garrett from a 88 volvo 740, gonna put it in my ride in 2 weeks, soon i will have some pics of my setup for you jeff.

and i'm glad you have a cool buddy to promptly give you your money back(even "socalled friends" can be shady about that stuff).

But yeah, tell us how things turn out.

be sure you find out why the turbo died,
because there may be something wrong with your installation,
like maybe the turbo wasnt getting the oil it needed or something?

it was getting plenty of oil, it was also burning oil, and what caused it to break was, the nut that held the compressor fan in, came off, i never heard of this happening, everyone i told this to was baffled, but i guess its one of thoes 1 in a million situations and i was just the unlucky individual it happened to.
