Why do I say the smartech isn't that great? Mainly cause if you need parts you will most likely have to order them online, unless your local hobby shop carries them, I know mine don't. I'd stray away from it, but too be honest, for the price it is tempting.

-20 for gas
-25 for ignitor
-10 for batteries

You also got a point with the aluminum stuff. I have an HPI Super Nitro that I decked out with a bunch of aluminum parts and you don't even wanna know how much I spent on it, wanna buy it?
I just gotta put it back together.
Aluminum upper deck, a-arms, upper arms, hubs, knuckles, fucken almost every part I could change to anodized purple I did, damn it cost a lot.
