We could debate single issues until Hotrex's herpes pass, but the big point is:
The government is the biggest, most unefficient business there ever was, and the only one that can legally have a monopoly on schools, building roads, free health care, and anything else they "pay" for. Democrats spend then tax, and in their spending they're only securing their own future power, not trying to advance people. The give freebies to minorities, crying college kids, labor unions (who contribute most of the money back to their campaigns), and any other inefficient program they can pull out of thier asses. When the program fails (and it always does), the answer isn't "it was a stupid program", it's "we need more money to make it happen". It's always the case, year after year, and people are dumb enough to keep buying it.
Which government program is a super great value (cost) vs the benefit (service)?
The border patrol? (red tape preventing them from doing the job they are paid to do)
Public schools? (how many 10's of thousands of dollars does it cost to uneducate EACH 4 year old year after year?)
Free healthcare programs? (Walter Reed should be a prime example of what you will recieve) (In the state of MN, 85% of participants in the state program to provide CHILDREN who don't have insurance with healthcare, ARE ADULTS.
Watch C-span sometime and you'll see the arguing and political dog and pony shows that are put on ALL DAY by senators and congressmen who are being paid (well) by the taxpayers to put on this unproductive show)
The average of time it takes to pay your average yearly tax bill is mid April. From Janurary to April YOU GIVE EVERY DIME YOU EARN TO THE GOVERNMENT. What do you get for all this money?, and if you had to pay all of your taxes all at once every year, how do you think the public would feel realizing they're paying for something they aren't getting?
With the choices, the only thing you can do is hope a real fiscal conservative comes to power. ---- ******* and social issues. I don't even care about that ----. I just want someone to realize that if you had the $12,000 check from the government to send your kid to a private (real) school, how much better of an education would your kid get for the same price or less? We'll never know. See *Democrats* and *Unions* to figure out why.

If everyone had a good education and went to a private school we wouldn't have have a completely uninformed, idealistically malleable "lower" class to mold so easily to the will of those in power.
You guys give the government so little credit and think you're making a sufficient stab at its core, but you really have no idea. You're just picking out one person who you thinks hustling you and coming up with theory's about how they're hustling you, stabbing out their ideas like they're just some weak *** front to get money. All of these laws you guys bitch about, everything the government does is so much more thought out than any of you jump to a conclusion about. You refuse to come to terms with the facts and push your ideas farther because you're already set at where you're set at. If you think these guys who have completed law school, took an undergraduate study of econ/history/political science Pre-law just come up with ---- off the top of their head and run with it arrogantly without thinking about the repercussions and the end goal , you're ------- insane. You're never going to get the full story from any one of these people because the full story is alittle to much to grasp and stomach from most people. No one cares, no one wants to know, no one needs to know, if you do want to know you'll learn on your own and make an effort to push your knowledge on the subject and overall mental picture as far as you can.

If you think its anything like this with a bunch of highly educated old men you're ------- crazy. They all mingle, they all play golf and hang out with each other, there's no huge tribes, no factions based off political affiliation. There's bound to be "you scrach my back, i'll scratch yours" alliances, but they're not what you think they are.. They know damn well what they're doing when they're doing it and how they're playing it out. They follow strict codes of silence to the media and try to stay out of the focus of the media as much as possible, not even to feed them lines. They do the things and make the moves none of you want to know about or hear about. They do all of this so you can have your paper plates, your gasoline, your resources, your cheep labor, your chineese goods at wal-mart and your massive amount of resources that take more work to make than you did to purchase them. You guys see the show and think it's the real deal, it's far from the real deal.

Rawr, thanks for using so many words without actually saying anything. All I got from it was that our government is actually controlled by aliens and all of them do a fairly good job sticking to thier stories that they.......don't believe in?? 
I think YOU'RE giving them too much credit. Those old wind bags couldn't be as (dare I say) consistant if they didn't believe the bullshit flowing out of thier mouths.
Under Republicans you get more of a free market, lots of spending after promising not to, and they "go with who they know"(*see liberal talking point- cronyism) (no, that's not how it is in the real world.

With democrats you get taxed for everything you have, and in return the government makes sure you don't have to take any kind of responsibility for yourself by living off their handouts. Watch out for those gay parades and NAACP awards shows, but don't let the white people even call themselves white or we'll firebomb thier asses.
