Did a motor swap(3 HP, 7+1 port .26) and added taller gears. This thing is insanely fsat to say the least. Its hard to tell by the video but I'll try and get a better one later.

This is what brought the day to an end. By my experience with RCs Im guessing 65-70MPH is where its at right now (out the box it did 50MPH).

You need some drag slicks for that thing cause it looks like your having some traction issues. Pretty sweet though Raffi.

Of course, as long as you live at home and make above minimum wage :P . The car was $400 because of the Ferrari Body. The WRX, Austin Martin, and Calsonic Nissan can be had for as little as $350 shipped as a ready to run package(just add batteries and fuel). The new motor, pipe, gears, clutch and clutch bell were about $200 and I do all my labor . Not bad considering a 1/5th scale gas cars capable of these speeds costs over $2K.

I'll race it when I get back to Cali. SoCal is the mecca of RC racing (specifically in Orange county and Reverside). Every year they also hold top speed drags at Californis Speedway. I'll be entering next year . The fastes car this year went 127MPH I belive.

There are no 1/8th on road tracks here that I have found. Most tracks ar ova,l dirt tracks...who would of guessed.....NASCAR...WOHOOOOOOO! :1 :1
