so apparently i got a virus of some sort, some hijacker bullshit, but i have webroot spy sweeper, and i scan my pc regularly, and it always takes care of the problems, but this time my IE homepage is going to www.theguardservices.com and no matter how many times i do a sweep on the system, or reset my homepage, it always goes back to that damn site, and the site says some bull ---- warning about how someone has hacked into my computer and has access to all my personal files/info, and then they want me to fix it by buying one of their spy sweep programs, so its gotta be a ------- scam so i'll buy their software, but i cant get my homepage back, any help

I got the same thing the other day. My dumbass wasn't running Norton, I just reformanted and didn't install it yet.

So I just reformated again and am doing great.

trojan, no matter what you do, he can change it again and again and again. disconnect ur internet n he cant do it, or call ur isp and ask for a new ip addy

Start - all programs - accessories - system tools - system restore..
try doin it before this started happening.. might work might not

hitman pro has 4 or 5 programs built into it. so its almost guaranteed they wont miss it. besides its cool to watch the program do all the work. it literally moves the mouse and clicks where you need to click
