HELP Movie trouble

Default HELP Movie trouble
I just downloaded many episodes of rescue me season 1&2 from ares I opend them externally and I get sound and nothing else wtf is wrong and how do i fix it ! I am going in withdrawl from not getting to see me favorite show

download/install vlc media player

If it doesn't work you can kick yourself in the *****.

I've yet to find something it won't play. I opened a text file with it and it played a movie. :1
