you know what i still don't give a ----. you need to learn still.. FUCKEN NEW RIDERS.. think they know everything.
BLAH BLAH BLah i used to ride my friends 750. BLAH BLAH BLAH.

i used to ride my buddy's 1200 bandit. and i had 1000 miles under my belt with that bike. AND that was the first bike i rode consistantly and i can attest to you that I STILL DIDN"T know the True basics to ride for realz.

now that my *** has 9000 miles under a old 600 im ready to jump.. you friend need to learn too.

I'm not saying I have the skillz to ride this bitch to the limit
nor will I try. And if I drop the bike then oh well ---- happens sometimes.
I have been around motocross since I was young, now I know thats
not the same at all but still gives me more of a chance to not ----
something up.
Plus I dont want to have to mess around with a used bike, a few years
ago I wouldnt have cared but as I get older I just want piece of mind.
So for $7800 on the R6 I think I'ma jump on it.

i paid 2k for my 600. only thing i invested on it was tires, oil changes, a chain and sprocket and last but not least new grips on my handle bar.

i have a zzr600 it was nice till i layed it down. hit a pot hole going around a car on the highway. i'm going to fix it though, it slid on it's side and the frame and engine are fine.

it's alil more comfortable then ninja's but has the last generations zx6r ninja engine.

I think I'm one of the few 20yr old dudes rocking cruiser style bike, I have nearly 6,000 miles on it and have'nt dropped it once. I need to get some new pics cause it looks pretty much exactly as my goal for it was. Anyways I don't have any trouble keeping up the pace the guys i ride with and quite a few ride sport bikes. Everyone thinks they need a brand new 600cc sport bike for their first one but i have plenty of fun on my 800cc vtwin. I ride a 1999 suzuki intruder vs800 btw, granted they can take corners and accelerate faster than me but there is no need to go as fast as the sport bikes can go on the street. Only way I'd get a sport bike is as my second bike.

Buy my bike. '97 CBR 600 (my first bike... plenty of power). Or you can get a brand new bike and regret it... your choice.

first bike was a GS500 had it for almost 2 years. Great bike... beat the hell out of it. Pushed it to its very limits. Learned all the fundamentals of riding and then some. Best 1k I EVER spent. You know why... i'm selling it for 1500 this weekend.

Gonna be picking this up:

Kawi Z1000

Don't be an idiot and buy a brand new bike as a first... if you do I will be waiting and watching the classifieds in your area for an 07 w/ a salvage title :P
