Default HELP INTEGRA PROBLEMS!!!!!

???I WAS INSTALLING A RADIO INTO MY 95 INTEGRA AND TWO POSITIVE WIRE TOUCHED AND NOW MY CAR WONT START!SOMEONE TOLD ME IT COULD BE MY ECU. ANYBODY WILL ANY INFO I WOULD REALY APPRECIATE IT. AND ANOTHER THING IF IT IS MY ECU COULD I USE A P72 ECU UNTIL I CONVERT TO LSVTEC?

First off TURN OFF THE CAPS. Pop your hood, you just blew a fuse. Take it easy. You most likely blew a fuse in the box in the engine compartment.

Cars are usually equipped with fuses that protect components from damage

its your fuse check all your fuses and then check those under the hood as well.

dude its a fuse. it happened to me. look under the fuse box in the dash and just check. then if its not blown i would try the under-dash fuse box. youll be cool. just look.

if two pos wires touched, you shouldnt have a problem.


one of thoes wires that u think is + might just be a ground.

try and get some asstance from someone who is a lil electrically inclined

I'm gonna go with the stop & panic excuse. Now is a good time to completely freak out since the car doesn't work.. maybe if you ran around in the street shouting random ---- and pretend like you are on fire then the car might work again for you?

If not then throwing a panic storm and acting a fool is always something fun and entertaining to do.
