HELP! i think im getting scammed!
 

sup fellas. so i'm pretty sure i'm getting fucked over by a guy i was supposed to get a motor from. anyways, i'm looking for someone whos knowledgable about internet ----. give me some advice, maybe help me get more info on this fag. like if the number and name i got is actually his..anyways, here's my problem, cliff notes under the rant.

i bought a motor from a member on the clubcivic forum (jdm style ef), and sent him a lump of the money about a month and a half ago (may 7th) via wire transfer, and agreed to pay the rest once i get my motor. well, it's been a month and a week since he told me that he sent it out (may10th). he claims that he called the shipping company and was told that it was lost during shipping; so he says he filed a lost package claim against that company. well i called the company, and they said that they dont send packages that large. i asked him for a tracking number, and he said that he was told that it would be emailed to him, but never got it. so i think i'm getting scammed.


cliff notes:
-bought a motor from a guy
-paid majority of it up front on may 7th via wire
-haven't gotten anything since. he tells me that it was lost during shipping and is filing a lost package claim against the shipping company
-says he didn't get a tracking number (supposed to be emailed to him?)


what should i do? like, what authorities should i contact; any that deals with internet fraud? i DO have his name, where he banks, his account number, phone number, old address, and i also kept all conversations we had via email and AIM. so what can i do? can you guys get more info on this fucker? help me out please. thanks for your time.

Well either contact the cops/take him to court, show up at his door with some large friends, or throw some change at some nogs on here to pay him a visit.

Where does he live? What motor and how much?

dont use wire transfers lol...just an easy way to get fucked. If you know for a fact that the company doesnt ship large packages, go to his house and pay him a visit

he lives along the illinois/indiana border area. i know some of the guys here can dig up dirt on a person. help me out!

wire transfer isn't that bad. because now i have his name, his old address, his bank account number, and i know where he banks

wow. I feel you. Atleast he's still replying. Try to work something out. But wiretrans/moneygram/western union....are a big NO mutha f'n way. Don't ever fall for that crap. Tell him you're going to get the authorities involved...just for your safety. He better have the docs to prove his innocence. :y

tell him you talked to the shipping company and they need the originating adress(his)
then look up the adress and find if its realy him
then call the po po
