Re:Help Guys
if you have the sensor on there... dont worry to much about it... but if its missing... plug in the hole with something.... like epoxy or something similar...

Re:Help Guys
but is the sensor necisary and do i need one because i dont thnk i haveone in my car, i mean does the civic even have a temp sensor for the ECU along its intake tract?

Re:Help Guys
Yes honda's have intake temp sensors, they can be tough to find sometimes, but they are usually located on the side of the intake manifold or backside. You dont need to move it or anything when putting the turbo setup on. You need to just plug that hole on the pipes and not worry about it.

Re:Help Guys
What if you wanted to keep the sensor and hook it up in the cab with a gage or some kind of read out would that be possible?

Re:Help Guys
good idea, i actually want to do that now, where can i get a good temp guage cheep?
|
Re:Help Guys
Uhm, I dont think that will work, since its probably a 5v circuit (my guess) and just feeding the ecu a voltage that varys. You would have to make a custom gauge to get it to work correctly. No "Off the shelf" unit will work.
