help with burning dvds
so i pop the disc in, go to dvd shrink and remove the ---- to make it fit
I go to burn the disc as a data disc and put the video_ts and audio_ts as the data to burn, then a ------- error comes up everytime, wtf am i doing wrong please someone help me with this ----

WTF?
If you're doing it that way, you need to go to Nero Burning Rom and choose "video disc" then throw the dvd files in there.
But, if you have nero installed, why don't you just have dvd shrink back up to a dvd?!

Which program are you using?
DVDShrink does not always remove all protection, but it's pretty good about it.
edit: You don't burn a DVD-Video disc as a data disc. You need to choose Video Disc wherever it is in your program and then import your VIDEO_TS AND AUDIO_TS (which 99% of the time contains nothing) folders.

dvdshrink then i try to burn with recordnow! burning software and it says tere is an error with the disk, is the process right?

No, as we both just said, you have to choose video disc. It's not a data disc, their structure is different.
Why not use nero? It'd be way easier.
If you try to copy any Sony dvds they'll probably have their arccos protection on them, in that case just download "ripit4me"
