Well I never really do this on other sites but i thought id make a change.....So anyways hello, im pretty much some 21yr old guy who loves cars....and loves his hatch. I own a 1995 civic cx with a D15b7 swap...Ive went thru 3 motors so far getting to this point due to liars aand needing money so yea.
I have been wanting to turbo my car for awhile now just havent had teh funds to do it but now...im slowly getting cash flow and Im really thinking about turboing my car. Ive been on other sites mainly d-series.org, and civic-eg.com but this site is great for me to learn alot of stuff i need to on....

So far I have a hf manifold, T-25 dsm turbo, a couple oil pans, im thinking about no more than 8lbs since its on stock internals, im thinking about trying to use Volvo greentop injectors that i have sitting around as well tho i have to look and see what all is going to work. and what else i need i know theres still quite a bit i am in need of so as of right now let the learning begin......

you need oil lines,intercooler,bov,chipped ecu,charge piping,oil fittings, adapter plate for turbo, downpipe,boost gauge, CLUTCH!!!!!,tires, all kinds of ----

tires i have brand new ones...im getting a adapter plate and truely you dont need a intercooler but most likely i will get a small one. definately dont need a clutch have a brand new one with now probaly 1000 miles on it tops but yea there truely isnt much to get its mainly the tune for me that i am planning on spending the most time and money on

ok if you want a semi decent reliable turbo kit you need an intercooler and clutch. oem clutch is not going to handle 200hp. but if you know everything then dont bother asking

Even an ebay six puck for $150 would be better than your "new" clutch. Youll be disappointed if you use what you have. Stock clutch is for a 90hp car.

Use an intercooler. Its the only way to make any power with a turbo system. I wouldnt waste my time boosting your car if you dont use one. The difference in power is huge. Even a mx6/probe/dsm/audi junkyard intercooler with radiator hoses going to it is better than nothing. The colder the air, the more dense. The more dense, the more air you can fit in the same place. The more air you put in an engine, the more power youll make. Its that simple.
