He probably nignog welded it without a mask so he couldn't get a bead so the tape is to seal the massive leak. Very classy.

no, look at it. he taped it togeather then welded it. look at the engine bay shot. there is no tape.

No ----, I've seen that car driving around before. I always used to confuse it with a buddy of mine's car cus he had equally ghetto bodywork. Never knew it was boosted.
