I know people who run them with no problems. A few guys on a audio forum I'm on run this unit and have been using the usb thumb drives for a good while.

I had a JVC head unit I bought back in 03 that worked 100% flawless. Still worked a few months ago when I sold my Del Sol. It made it through 3 cars just fine. What's so bad about them?

well, his is the only one i know of that died out. but if it's -6 months old, it aint right if a feature like that dies out.

personally i dont believe in jvc. jvc vs. sony?? i mean c'mon. samsung for example comes out with some pretty revolutionary technology but it dies shortly after.
