HD video help!

got a new 46'' lcd a week ago, so i wanted to watch a few hd movies. downloaded some movies but the file extensions are wierd

i was wondering if anyone has any codec for a .ts file, and .evo files.

the .evo files are almost like .vob i think. cuz the movie i downloaded has a Audio_ts folder and Video_ts.

so if anyone could help, please. i want to watch equilibrium in 1080p

I can't help you, but watching equilibrium in 1080p would be amazing.

VideoLan VLC player, not the fanciest, but the best media player IMO. Plays smoother than media players and plays tons of files.

I forgot the name of the codec pack I use. If nobody posts it before I get home I'll post.

Link me to that media.

Google "ts file extension" or whatever extension you're looking for, it always helps.

Second google result for ".evo file" says to use powerdvd 6.5 if you don't have a hdcp compliant card, which you probably don't....

so, since I helped you, you can tell me where you got the hd-dvd rips.
