I'd say find a clean hatch of any color and get it painted at Macco's and trunk liner paint the engine bay and have alot of chedda in your pocket to spend on other things.....Like a new paint job the following year. Sorry I guess that didn't help but hell I'm just gonna get the Z macco job cause I'm poor like that.

I am trying to decide what color to paint my red CRX. I on the other hand, have no interest in having it even close to perfect as its a rot box. I cut out what I could and skim coated most of the dents. I am going to use Rustolium in the gallon at HomeDepot. I'm not using a roller like all the others did. I bought some cheap HVLP's. It only needs to be a 10 ft paint job. I am also looking to go white. It looks good with flaws and you can wash a white car with a brillo pad and it still will look new.

At least white is a pretty forgiving color, it wont look **** poor even if the paint is not super expensive, unlike some metallics and dark colors. It hides bodywork pretty good too. I would def paint the engine bay too.
