well today i was suppose to pick up my car so i could go to the northeast cruise. 2 weeks ago my turbo came, two days after that my manifold was done. monday my car finally started with the new motor, only thing left was half of my down pipe needed to be finished and the IC pipding for the turbo to IC. DP was finished yestreday morning and i was suppose to pick it up today. WONDERFUL GREAT i was excited. call the shop to see what time to stop by, "they dont know havent heard from the shop thats doing my dp and ic piping. so i call back at 12, same thing, and havent heard from since. they dont pick up the phone. ------- wonderful. i love how this always happenes. hopefully ill be able to get it in time for the ------- dyno session with xenocron. knowing my luck that wont happen. Sorry guys i wont be there tonight i am going to go smash something

I go through the same ---- all the time (and so does BBKA if you remember his post from a while back). My car is absolutely fine until about 48 hours before I want to do soemthing with it, and then it takes a ----. It seems like I am always under the gun like "OK, IF my parts show up in 48 hours ANDI can get everything iunsalled in one night then I SHOULD be alright."

I just had JEGS send me the wrong muffler 3 times in a row. turns out whatever retards they have in their warehouse can't distinguish a 1 from a 2, and they sent me part number 11226 rather than 11216....3 ------- times in a row.

no i always work on my own cars. but if your mom offered to pay to have everything put on it, youd probably say yes. all i needed help on was the motor being put in see as i dont have a lift, i had everything set up so that it could be dropped in and wam bam im done. turbo kit everything. but knowing shops they take FOREVER on ----, and im just pissed that i cant go show off the new beast tonight.

Actually, no I wouldn't. I've never taken any vehicle to a shop to get worked on, except for tires and wheel alignments, but that's different. I don't trust shops and plus, I can do it myself so there would be no reason to waste money taking it to an overpriced shop to get shotty work done.

i wouldnt say they do shotty work. the stuff these guys have done is amazing, wait till you see my modifyed bmc manifold. they just take a while to do things sometimes and the fact that they didnt bother to call me today and let me know that my car wasnt done is what pissed me off. these guys arent your average shop, they know what they are doing, you should see this 03 wrx thats now an sti. ------- sick, plus all the other cars they do, i just hope i get mine back before i go to the dyno. this was sortof one of those rants that you do when your pissed off at the time, and then your ok with it, cause they event didnt end your life.
