mothers/fathers/mlk/presidents day are all stupid, imo. at least one where schools get a day off and in some work places too.
if black people really gave a ----, they would remember him everyday, not just one day of the ------- year. same goes with fathers/mothers day.
are they only allowed to be appreciated to the fullest once a year?

Marthur was a communist, and I have no respect for that. Also, he is supposed to be this great guy because of his peaceful agenda, yet riots broke out when he was murdered. That should tell you how much of an impact he had. Not that he did or didn't try to bring a peaceful style of protest, it's just the people didn't learn anything from it, and that doesn't deserve the only holiday celebrating one person. There were much better men than him, but they don't get thier own day. I view mlk day as a pacifier for the victim mentality of *most* blacks.
