Yeah I know its early but my wife decided to get me a Miller 175 mig welder today as an early fathers day present.

Its a 230 volt though but it was only $100 more that the 135 wich is 120 volts.

I wanted a TIG but she told me not to push my luck :P

Now I have to get 230 volts to the garage...good thing Im an electrician ;)

Man, 175 is nice, I used to have a 135. Better tell her to get you a cylinder of shielding gas while she is at it, you will need at least a 40cf sized tank to feed that beast.

Good thing you reminded me it was fathers day, else I would have to look stupid with my sister telling me it tomorrow. I'll make sure to hook up with something from wal mart tomorrow before I go see my dad.

I had a 20lb bottle of co2 in my garage(we use it to blow lines through/dirt out of underground conduits).Im gonna use that for now.i know co2 couses a little more spatter than mix gas but it will do for now.

Im itching to get back home couse Im up in Riverside visisting my dad.Its torture knowing that my welder is at home and I havent got a chance to play with it :(

Nothing used to make me laugh harder than being in my 97 hatch with a killer audio setup and pulling up to some wiggers in a rice mobile bassing some Old school george strait or johnny cash and having them just role up there windows and give me dirty looks. ;D
