happening faster than you thought
huge government spending.
nationalizing of banks.
socialized govt run health care.
stealing money from people who can pay their mortgages and giving it to people who bought houses they couldn't afford, but have bigger houses, and more toys than the people who are now paying part of their mortgage.
huge tax increases on business and "the rich" upper income bracket to be 80-90% income taxed.
dow at ~7,000.
stocking up on ammo yet?

I cant find any 7.62x39mm online. The exception in Gunbroker.com, and the prices are stupid for 1000rd cases.
I did find 900 rounds locally recently and bought that, but I shot about 400 of it that week.
Oh, and fixing errr, letting the economy correct itself is easy. Let businesses fail, massive cuts of government spending/social programs/entitlement programs. Big tax cuts for the middle class, business owners, and capital gains. Same goes for state spending on entitlement bullshit. Elect Ron Paul?
