Handgun buyin time

Re: Handgun buyin time
the only reason .22's are dangerous. is because the bullet can boucne around in your body and do more damage. but you shouldent be "claping off rounds" at anyone anyway. very low class uncivil behavior, and nothing they could have done deserves being shot at. aside from attempting to take your life or life of another person. and im not saying you shouldent cary a gun, just be responsable with it. I like my h&K usp, its a nice solid reilable gun.

Re: Handgun buyin time
Never take advice on which gun to purchase or not to purchase by anyone that does not own one.
On that note I currently own the following handguns: Sig Sauer .380, Sig .40, Glock 9, and a S&W .22.
There are a variety of guns that are really nice, and there's some real crap out there. It just all depends on what you want to do with it. If it's to protect your home and you don't plan on carrying outside your home you should look into a larger caliber gun that will serve more to take someone down. If someone is in your home, you're shooting to kill, so there's no messing around.
If you're looking for a gun to carry around (assuming you have a concealed carry permit) I highly recommend the Sig .380 It is probably the nicest, smoothest handgun I have ever shot. You don't want something high caliber that could injure others with strays. I like the glock alright and have never had trouble with it, but I have heard of problems and I do prefer a Sig or HK if you can afford it.
If you're buying a handgun to be a thug don't buy it. Put you're money into something else.

the BAN HAS SUNSETTED. there is no ban on high capacity clips now.
i have two 10-22s and they are fun. you will not have fun loading a 30 or 40 round clip
25 round clips are enough you will get bored pulling the trigger that many times and then loading the clip agian.
