Pistols kickass in Halo2 when dual welding. Who needs a pistol when you can get a sword ;) Plus they had to downgrade the pistol a bit. It might as well have been a sniper in Halo 1.

halo one was great, but halo 2 left you wanting more. it seems that the only thing halo two was is an upgrade really. they should have made halo 1 v.2 and just left it at that.

Halo was a dissapointment to me period. Far better FPS's on pc. Half Life 2 owns Halo 1 and 2 and anymore to come. That and you don't have to pay for that ------ xbox live bullshit or use a shitty game pad.

yeah when i first played halo 2 i was like "what the ---- happen to the pistol?" then i realized how ------- powerful two pistol together were. The sword can be cheap though. that took the pistol place. Halo 2 is a big dissapointment but its fun as hell playing it online
