Ive been cutting my own hair for years.Wahl clippers are best but Conair work as well and are cheap.

i use a clipper every friday, it grows out pretty fast

same thing here. i usually do the back by feel now and it turns out well, then i touch it up holding a mirror up in fornt of me with my back to a big mirror. i do my own fade *****

clippers from Walmart and your set. Get your gf/buddy/roommate to double check the back for you.

I used to cut a bunch of people's hair when I was in the dorms. Made a couple of bucks that way. So haircut time was money time for me.

Barbers make me sleepy. I'm not exactly sure why, but they do. I bought my own clippers and cut it every 3-4 weeks. I'm not concerned with the way my hair looks, but I like to look presentable for my family and the wife's family.

Here's a secret. Use a hair holder/thing that 12 year old girls use to keep their straight hair out of their eyes, and place the ends on your temple, drooping down on your neck. Trim the back according to the hair holder, and you're golden. I got it from my sister when I moved out of the parents house, and it works better than anything else I've tried.

I'm another cheap ***. I use the shortest guard that comes with the clippers. Needs done about every 3 weeks or it get shaggy looking. Sure is nice to not have to use a comb
