lol... so a 1.5 is slow, but a 1.6 is soo much better.. bah, hardly a difference with the GUDE head.

Re:Haha, 11 sec 1.5 civic.

Thats some "GUDE Head".... what are they good for 30-40HP but still 11 seconds with a built head and turbo alone seems impossible... unless hes got the bottom end fortified with forged slugs and beefier rods... he could crank the boost up and run an 11 second pass once or twice before the engine blows like a fat chick at a pie eating contest

... like some dude in here once showed us his time slips... basically he ran his motor to blow the ---- out of it... but he got like 11. something run from it...

i think that motor actually lived for a long time, though not daily driven...pushed over 300 at the wheels i think

Yeah I have to agree that them dinky 1.5's do have potential. This dude I met that had a an EG (VX model) with a 1.5 was running 13's in the 1/4. He had some mild head work and a SI tranny, but he had a CRAZY ass cam. When that ---- was at idle it sounded like a ------' rotary motor. I wanted to buy the car from him, it was clean as ----! But that rotary sound would be annoying after a while. I actually still want the car :'( :sigh:

Re:Haha, 11 sec 1.5 civic.

last year I seen that guy run his car at the track he was running 16.5's and if the wind blew right he would hit 16's. he thinks he is going to have a 11sec daily driven car just by bolting on a turbo. I thought those numbers a bit unrealistic. going from 16.5 to 11 with bolting on a turbo. I seen it run at the track again soon I'll let you know what happens to the car.
