Re: h&r springs
H&R springs on a tokico adjustable shock are an awesome setup on an autocross car. I'm gunnin' for a set of Tokico RAK's personally. ;)

Re: h&r springs
I have h&r springs, and stock struts and lower shock forks from a 91 teg on my 90 crx. about 1/2 to 3/4 lower than stock because of the longer teg forks, but it handels like it was 2 1/2 lower like h&r said it would be. Its a pretty stiff ride, but not to bouncy.I also have the larger stock front teg swaybar on my crx to. HYBRID BOYYYYYYYY

Re: h&r springs
IM still running the stock rear Si swaybar, So I havent had my car skip through a single turn yet. My cars weakest link now is my 195/60-14 ze-512, mabey if I had better tires it would go to the point of skipping. But untill then my car dose great.

Re: h&r springs
If you can get them for a good deal then I would recomend them, But I would also get some better struts so you dont blow out the stock ones.

Re: h&r springs
Tein S tech on KYB AGX or AGR struts. End of story.
Hell, S techs on new stock struts will ride TITS! The disadvantage is that if you want to be a ricer or a H-T Mad JDM Tuck kinda guy, then these aren't for you simply because you wont be tucked. Depending on the vehicle/Engine/Weight you'll have about a finger to two fingers gap. In my case this is a good thing because of thoes 15X7 Rims with a 205 tire. My wheels are flush with my fenders. |
Re: h&r springs
It all depends on what YOU like! The springs are only part of the equation.
Basically you have to try them, most people that have a setup they like will tell you that they have had a few different setups. Almost everything that you put on your car is trail and error. Some people like b's some like d's but the main thing is it's your car and you should put stuff that you like on your car. |
Re: h&r springs
Just get good struts or any performance spring will ride like ass.
