if your refering to better controls as having four buttons like hp/lp hk/lk than yeah because it had more buttong prior to segas three buttons. but by no mean did snes repsond to your controls as fast as the sega version. snes version is slower and seem sluggish. sega was controls was quicker and more responding. Trust me i have them both
I KNEW IT !!! I really did "tell Mario to jump" !!! It was the controller the whole time !!!

I used to hate that ----....------- Mario's fat ass couldn't jump for ----! always catching the tip of his big toe on barrell >:( now Donkey Kong Jr. was the ----!!
