My father-in-law found out about the Dread about 2 weeks ago. He is very interested in it. He has been trying to get more info on it. Its made here in CT.

the problem is, Troops are getting in trouble for killing the wrong person in gun fights. ( ::)) 99.9% of the time, you arent gonna need a weapon that will shoot what this thing is capable of. The way I look at it...its alot of wasted bullets. It only takes one shot to take someone down. ;)

It just looks gay, but this is because it has a 360* range of fire, you could make that gun look good but you would then render its multiple angle fire capabilities useless, on that note, I think if I owned one I'd paint it flat black and put an HMT sticker on the top.

its kinda disgusting... takes away from the whole risk thing. i wonder if EMP's will come into play now. since a strong enough emp should destroy the guns ability to operate. the lasers are kinda disturbing also.. more "effecent" operations allow more silent opreation of the govement, less knoledge of what politicians are up to leading to more control and trust. people like to abuse power not saying anyone will. but thats a hell of an opertunity.
